Anatomy of a Boot

     Buying a pair of cowboy boots can be so overwhelming for first time purchasers! Knowing what style you're looking for, what size you need, and how they're supposed to fit can be a challenge if you're not armed with the proper information. We are always happy to educate our customers about different styles, proper fit and cleaning/care of their new boots.

     This very first post is about the "Anatomy of a Boot" thanks to this beautiful graphic from Corral Boots. This shows each part of the boot and what its proper term is. Whether shopping online or in person, this information is so helpful for knowing what you're looking at! You may see in a boot description "double welt stitching" but that's not helpful if you don't know what a welt is! Use this graphic to get familiar with each part of a boot, and our upcoming posts will elaborate more on each part.
